soda can

Today was a very calm day because it was rainy so I just chilled inside due to the rain. I enjoyed doing this soda can. At first, it was very difficult and I was about to start over but as I added more highlights and shadows, it began to look more like a crushed soda can and less like a blob. This is my final product and I liked how we were instructed to put a pastel background. I found it is more pleasing to look at and I'm happy with how it turned out.

day 6

Today we were assigned to draw a shell. I really enjoyed this because it reminded me of the beach and how much I want to be back at the beach. My cyber day went pretty good today! I felt very relaxed and I was really glad I decided to do my artwork at the end of the day today because it gave me more time to focus on just art. I decided to put a lot of detail in it and I love the turnout!




 

day 5

Finally Friday! I have had so much work to do it feels like this week. I'm glad week one is over and I finished my in the bag pastel today. Today was so nice out so I decided to work outside! I am hoping cyber school gets better as time passes!

day 4

Today is Thursday and I finished my bag sketches today. I didn't know that we were going to have to wake up at 7 am because I haven't had to for any of my other classes. Mr. Durkin sent an email before cyber days begun saying that we would receive a 24-hour notice if we needed to wake up early for the class we have. Also, I plan out my drawings to do art in the middle of the day because it helps me get a break between my school work. This is why I didn't think we would have to wake up early because I don't usually do art in the mornings because I am not much of a morning person. day 2

Today I started my bag and I decided to work outside because it was really nice and sunny. I didn't really enjoy drawing the bag because I found it wasn't something that I would prefer to draw. Today is St. Patricks day and my brother's birthday so we were still able to celebrate without really being able to go anywhere. And my zinger painting is finished! Here is a picture of my brother with his new green shoes to celebrate!

1st cyber day

Today was our first cyber day ever. I feel like certain teachers are each giving us a lot of stuff to do because they don't realize that we have so much other work from different classes. Other than that, I enjoyed sleeping in more and wearing comfy clothes during the day. I would still rather be in school I think so I can see my friends and have less work to do at home. My space for art is my dining room because it is always peaceful and quiet in there.
