My Mentor
Henry Stinson was born in Anchorage Alaska. He has been teaching drawing and painting for 22 years. Stinson currently maintains a studio in Pullman Washington. I like this artist because he is able to turn "moments into paintings" and I admire that about him. His paintings remind me of a place that I love: the boardwalk. The paintings I chose remind me of the boardwalk because there is so much color and different objects in his works. He is able to turn a regular converse shoe into a colorful and inspiring work of art.
