- my goals and intentions for this art work were to have the portrait look like me.
- i accomplished this task by starting with the shadows then adding the highlights after
- i was most surprised by how similar my final product looked to the picture
- the most difficult challenge i had to face was creating the mouth without drawing what i think
- i met this challenge by only looking at the shadows instead of just drawing everything as i thought it looked
- i experienced the shift from right to left brain as i was trying to focus on only the shadows of the lips
- my drawing really works around the eye because i feel as if it looks very similar to the picture
- some things i learned that can be useful in the future will be only looking at certain parts of the picture when drawing it, rather than looking at it as a whole
- i learned from helen to start with the shapes of that shadows that i see
- if i had a do over, i would work more on the chin to make it look less thin
- i feel that the hair and eye are the best about my work
